Gnostice Information Technologies is firmly committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and those who sample Gnostice Information Technologies products. Gnostice is the Data Controller of the information collected on this site. We will not share, sell, or otherwise distribute the financial or personal information of our customers or those who otherwise provide personal information to sample our products, to any other organizations in any way other than what is disclosed in this document.

What Data We Collect About You and How Are We Collecting It?

Personal data such as name, email, mailing address, and telephone number when you make an online purchase of a Gnostice product via the Gnostice website, or provide this information through the Gnostice website or in your communications with Gnostice.
Gnostice uses a third-party e-commerce service to verify credit card data. Thus, Gnostice does NOT directly collect your credit card information when you make purchases via the Gnostice website. The third-party e-commerce website securely (using SSL encryption) processes your credit card information.
There are also instances when Gnostice will use a "cookie" in order to track website usage. These cookies do not collect personal information and are usually terminated once customers leave the site. These cookies may record the time of your visit, the date, the "referring" page that brought you to our site, and the IP address that your ISP has assigned to your computer at the time of your visit. This anonymous information is used to assist us in refining our websites to create a better user experience.

Legitimate Interests: Gnostice will process your Personal Data only as necessary to carry out our Legitimate Interests, while safeguarding your Rights and Freedoms. Our Legitimate Interests are to provide you with the necessary assistance to use our products and website and other services successfully, to inform you about and provide updates to our products and to enable communication between you and the Gnostice Team.
To Fulfill Our Obligations Under Our Contract With You: Gnostice will process your Personal Data to fulfill our obligations under our contract with you to provide our products and services to you. These obligations being to provide product licenses, updates, and technical support for the products you purchase.

How Are We Using Your Personal Data?

We use your Personal Data primary to deliver the products and services under the contract we have entered into with you when you purchased a product or used the evaluation versions of the products. This includes to inform you of updates, record your issues and deliver fixes, provide technical support and information about related new products.
Sharing with third-parties: Gnostice does not share your Personal Data with any third-parties, except with reseller partners. Gnostice may provide your contact information to reseller partners only to help you with purchasing and to get you assistance on using the Gnostice product better.
To further protect the privacy of our customers, access to information by our employees is restricted within the company. Only select employees with an absolute need to use that information, in order to better serve customers, are able to view any personal details submitted.

Your Rights - How Long Will We Store Your Personal Data And What Control Do You Have Over It?

We will store your data as long as you keep your account with us. Keeping your account would include your continued use of a purchased Gnostice product. Your Personal Data is kept indefinitely as you continue to be a licensee of a purchased Gnostice product. We need to keep this data to fulfill our obligations under our contract with you and fulfill the requirements of law.
You have the right to review the information we have kept of you, update and request for modification on it. If you need to change your Personal Data, please send us an email at: info@gnostice.com, requesting for the data.
You have the right to ask us to delete your Personal Data. If we have to go ahead with deletion of your Personal Data, we will have to revoke your license and you will have to stop using our product and service. If we are required by law to retain your Personal Data even after the revocation of your license, then we will not be able to fulfill your request for deletion. Security

All financial and personal information collected by, and on behalf of Gnostice is held in the strictest confidentiality. Any information, such as an email address, billing and shipping addresses, and other contact information, submitted via a download form, purchase form, beta team registration, or newsletter subscription, remains the sole property of Gnostice Information Technologies. Further, any third party personally identifiable information, submitted on your behalf by an outside party (e.g. in the case of the "tell-a-friend" feature, or a gift purchase) is treated with the same care as primary information. Any email addresses collected via a third party may be used to send a one time, invitation email. If you decide you do not want to be contacted again by Gnostice, you can remove yourself from our mailing list by requesting us to do so.

Changes To Our Privacy Policy

In addition, if Gnostice makes any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our website notifying users of the change. In some cases when we post the notice we will also email those users who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.

General

Children Under 18 Years Old: The Gnostice websites are not suitable for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information or Personal Data of children under the age of 18 years. If you are under the age of 18, do not use our website or register for any of our products. If it comes to our notice that we have collected information from a child under the age of 18, we will immediately delete that information. If you become aware of any person under the age of 18 years who has given information or signed up on the Gnostice website, please immediately inform Gnostice through the Contact information defined in the Contact section below.
In some areas of the website, Gnostice may choose to link to another website. We cannot be responsible for any of the content on these external sites. We are also not responsible for the privacy policies in place on that site. Personal information provided by customers, or those who sample Gnostice products, is sometimes used to contact individuals regarding new information about Gnostice products. Anyone contacted by Gnostice with product information can request to be removed from further updates at any time.
