  • What is Gnostice Print2eDoc SDK?
    Gnostice Print2eDoc SDK is the Software Development Kit for the Print2eDoc application, to programmatically control all the configuration and final creation tasks. Print2eDoc SDK provides options to make Print2eDoc application run in silent mode, set and manage Document Creation Profiles, control the Microsoft® Office Add-ins and to perform virtually all of what can be achieved through the graphical end-user interface of Print2eDoc.

  • Why do I need Gnostice Print2eDoc SDK?
    Gnostice Print2eDoc application enables any Windows application, that can print to a print device, to generate electronic versions of printable documents, without having to modify the application. Gnostice Print2eDoc SDK enables application developers to deploy Print2eDoc application and control it programmatically, thereby giving the power to the software developer to provide electronic outputs from their applications, with just a few additional lines of code and no changes to existing code.

  • Who can use Print2eDoc SDK?
    If you are a software developer and you use Microsoft® Visual Studio or Borland® Delphi™ or Borland® C++Builder™ to develop your software, you can use Print2eDoc SDK.

  • What are the minimum requirements for using Print2eDoc SDK?

  • Can I try Print2eDoc SDK before I buy?
    YES. The FREE full-feature trial versions of Print2eDoc SDK are available on the Download page.

  • What are the limitations of the trial edition?
    Trial versions have the following limitations:
    • Each page of the generated document will contain a message stating the document was created using the trial/preview version of Gnostice Print2eDoc SDK and the Gnostice web site address.

  • Does Gnostice Print2eDoc SDK require Adobe® Acrobat™, Ghostscript or other external software to work?
    NO. Print2eDoc SDK does not require any external software such as Adobe® Acrobat™, GhostScript, or other to work.

  • Is Print2eDoc SDK really Royalty-Free for application deployment?
    YES. If you are NOT developing a general purpose software product using Print2eDoc SDK, you may distribute applications that you develop using Print2eDoc SDK, Royalty-Free. You will need only one license of the SDK per developer seat. Please see the License section for details on this topic.

  • How do I buy Gnostice Print2eDoc SDK?

  • Does Print2eDoc support Windows Vista?
    Yes, Print2eDoc supports Windows Vista. However, the new application security architecture implemented by the operating system requires that you perform certain measures to enable Print2eDoc function normally.
