Tutorial - Working with Runtime Setup dialog

PDFtoolkit introduces new runtime setup dialog for document settings and preferences. This dialog box appears when the user runs the application. The runtime setup dialog contains a General tab, Security tab, View tab, Email tab and Compress tab.

 

 

 

1.        General tab: Select General tab to provide document information for Title, Subject, Author, Keywords and Creator.

 

 

 

 

2.Security tab allows to provide passwords, encrypt PDF file for 40 bit or 128 bit and set user permissions  by checking  the 'Encrypt Document' check box.

               

 

 

 

 

 

3.View tab allows users to select Page Layout, Page Mode, Presentation Mode and Viewer Preferences.

 

 

4.        Email tab: Select Email After Save check box to configure mailing feature by providing the host name, User ID, Password, from , to ,cc, bcc and subject.

 

Note: Mail server component (Indy or Fastnet) must be configured with PDFtoolkit for mailing.         

 

5.Compress tab allows users to select compression type and compression level.
