One of the reasons why .NET became so popular is the approach it sought to solve the DLL hell problem associated with previous component technologies.
With .NET, you can access a component if its DLL file is in local folder or if it is copied to the GAC (Global Assembly Cache).
When you use PDFOne .NET, you have the same options. You can keep the DLLs in the bin folder or have it installed the GAC.
Recently, we had a user who using a registered version of PDFOne .NET getting a "trial expired" error. The user had created an application on his local system but when he moved it to a network folder, it threw a confusing error message.
