To install Gnostice eDocEngine ActiveX/.NET, follow the procedure given below:
| 1. | Run the setup to install and register the Gnostice eDocEngine ActiveX control. The installation process will create the following directories: |
Bin
This directory contains all the OCX and DLL files required for Gnostice eDocEngine ActiveX/.NET. The bin directory contains two sub-directories i.e., ActiveX and .NET. "ActiveX" directory contains OCX file and ".Net" directory contains .NET wrapper DLL file.

eDocEngineX.ocx is the main eDocEngine ActiveX control file |
Include
The "Include" directory consists of the necessary header files which are used in VC6 and VC7 projects.

"gtDocEnums.h" contains all the enumerations used in eDocEngine ActiveX. As VC6 do not generate the enumerations automatically, include "gtDocEnums.h" for VC6 projects.

"gtDocUtils.h" contains few utility functions which can be used in both VC6 and VC7. It helps in performing conversions between COM-based data structures and native data types.

Few more header files specific to VC.NET are also provided. |
Localizer
This directory contains the Localization Editor used for editing the eDocEngine Localization File (.elf)
Demos
The "Demos" directory contains all the demos and sample codes created using Gnostice eDocEngine ActiveX/.NET in various platforms. Demos are provided for VB6, VC6, VB.NET, VC.NET and C#.NET. An executable demo (without source) can be downloaded from http://www.gnostice.com/edocdownload_x.asp.
Help
The "Help" directory contains all the help files of Gnostice eDocEngine ActiveX/.NET.
