Software Engineer - Development

Must Have

• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience programming on real-world projects using one or more of the following languages: VC++, C#, Delphi, C++.

Skills Required

• Ability to solve complex programming problems using any of the following programming languages: VC++, C#, Delphi, C++.
• Knowledge or experience in Delphi is an added advantage.
• Knowledge and ability to use and implement standard data structures and algorithms.
• Thorough knowledge and ability to build programs using object oriented programming concepts and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to apply Windows programming techniques and the Windows SDK.
• Good understanding and hands-on experience in at least one of the following Windows programming frameworks/libraries: .NET, Delphi VCL, MFC, Java.
• Good understanding of design methodologies (UML).
• Experience with using IDE coding and debugging features to a high level of efficiency.
• Practical knowledge of creating and using databases to develop database applications.
• Good understanding of the working and usage of components /controls of at least one of the Windows programming frameworks /libraries.
• Basic understanding and working knowledge of HTML and any one scripting language.
• Understanding of the process of developing software projects/products.
• Excellent communication skills (Writing and Speaking).

Responsibilities

• Research techniques and solutions for product features and document them.
• Design and architect product features and new products.
• Implement new product features and maintain and enhance existing features.
• Troubleshoot and solve product issues.
• Research new possibilities across product, domain and technology.

Software Engineer - Testing

The incumbent must be familiar with all modern techniques of Quality Control measures with an eye for detail. He should be Quality conscious in absolute terms and non-compromising in standards of Quality. He should be meticulous in his approach to finding nonconformance to requirements in software.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in testing on real-world projects.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of STLC and SDLC and testing methodologies.
• VB Script.
• Ability to plan and execute white box and black box tests.
• Knowledge of bug life cycle and regression.
• Experienced in process definition, and implementation .
• Exposure to Various software development platforms.
• Exposure to API testing is an added advantage
• Ability to write programs
  

Responsibilities:

• Involve with development team from project start, understand goals and requirements and prepare Software Test Plan.
• Adhere to Software Test Plan and carry out product testing.
• Work with team to research domain/product and prepare initial and test cases and continuously expand them.
• Perform Functional, System, Integration and User Acceptance tests.
• Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts is documented and maintained.
• Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes and procedures for testing as per standards defined by the organization.
